Amani Family Services is a private nonprofit organization serving more than 1,500 families and individuals from around the world who have made Allen County their home. It’s one of the largest nonprofit agencies serving immigrants and refugees in the area, offering 4 programs, and employing around 40 multilingual staff members and contractors. Free mental health services are offered in an array of languages providing opportunity for discussion around relocating to this community in addition to educating and assisting individuals on their overall well-being. Substance use support groups and adjustment groups are provided as well.
Center for Behavioral Health is a Medication Assisted Treatment Center in Fort Wayne. We believe everyone deserves respect and dignity. We do not have a particular counseling philosophy that all of our counselors must follow. In fact, quite the opposite. Our counselors come from various backgrounds and educations. We believe this gives our patients the option to work with counselors that can connect with them. We understand that no one type of treatment works for everyone.
Fort Wayne Recovery is a state-licensed, Joint Commission Accredited Addiction Treatment Treatment Provider. While individualized Addiction Treatment is the primary focus, clients will have the opportunity to receive care for Mental Health Disorders as well. Fort Wayne Recovery's Outpatient Levels of Care include Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient. Recovery Residence housing is available for those that wish to live in a clean, safe environment while attending treatment.
Genesis Outreach is dedicated to the preservation and reunification of the families we serve. We provide affordable housing opportunities and programs with the purpose and hope that they will lead to permanent housing, self-sufficiency, and long-term sobriety. The services provided by Genesis Outreach, Inc. include, but are not limited to, permanent housing, transitional living, case management, addiction services, family reunification, like skills training, employment assistance, and advocacy.
Headwaters Counseling is a private, not for profit counseling agency in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We provide outpatient counseling services for persons who have behavioral health needs or are at risk of harmful involvement with alcohol or other drugs. Services are available to children, families, and adults of all ages. Through a team approach and the active participation of the persons served, the overall goal of our program is to improve the quality of life and the functional abilities of the persons served.
Positive Resource Connection is an AIDS Service Organization that serves all of Northeast IN. The mission of the Northeast Indiana Positive Resource Connection is to prevent new cases of HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis, and STDs and advance a compassionate and stigma-free community response. We provide free educations, testing, harm reduction items, and outreach information to anyone interested in receiving those services. Free Non-Medical Case Management, HOPWA assistance, and substance abuse supportive care services are also offered to those who are HIV positive.
The treatment services at Ridgeview are based on a medical staff model with a licensed physician responsible for the quality and appropriateness of care. The multi-disciplinary treatment team, working under the supervision of the physician, is composed of licensed and credentialed staff, highly trained and experienced in effectively implementing treatment plan objectives. All patients who are approved for admission will be treated with dignity and respect within a milieu that is conducive to their long-term recovery. The service components are designed primarily for adults between 18-75 years of age, who experience mental health issues serious enough to require an inpatient level of care, or, those who experience the co-occurring disorders of mental illness and addiction issues of the same severity. Specialized treatment interventions are developed based on population need and patient census.
The Lighthouse exists to serve those struggling with life-altering addiction by providing structure, education, support, housing, and mentorship from a faith-based perspective.
The YWCA Northeast Indiana's Addiction Recovery Program, Hope & Harriet, is a long-term intensive residential treatment program in a sub-acute medical facility for women 18 years and older that specializes in the pursuit of recovery from chemical dependency. Certified by the Indiana Department of Mental Health and Addiction, a Level IV INARR residence and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Residential Facilities, Hope & Harriet provides a high-level of support and structured wrap-around services for residents. Using an individualized approach, each resident is provided a team of addiction professionals to partner with during her journey to recovery.
